This braided cotton rope is a kernmantle style braid. It has a heavy cotton skin (mantle) braided over top of a 100% cotton parallel fiber core (kern). It is 100% Canadian made using NAFTA cotton spun into yarn in the United States. We see many ropes on the market that claim to be 100% cotton but when you cut them open you find cheap synthetic fillers. This is a truly 100% cotton rope. It is soft on the hands, and very popular for use with animals as dog toys, or made into leads.
