Overwhelmed with the thought of quilting a project? Let us teach you how to quilt as you sew! Dust off your walking foot and let it do the work for you.
This fun quilt as you sew pattern will build confidence for even a novice quilter.
Purchase your quilt from Dragonfly, and participate in a 2 hour class to learn tips and tricks to create custom bags.
Most of all, come and have fun with our educator Dale Quadros, as we work through making our "Fun in the Sun tote", and learn how to use some of our top notions such as Soft and Stable and Acorn Seam Aligner, to provide excellent results.
Class is limited to 12 students.
JANUARY 25, 2024--WE WILL BE WORKING WITH CREATING BLOCKS THAT HIGHLIGHT A COMBINATION OF DECORATIVE STITCHES BUILT INTO YOUR SEWING MACHINE. WE WILL LOOK AT 'STACKING STITCHES' TO CREATE NEW UNIQUE STITCH PATTERNS.
note: this class is all about the decorative stitches on your machine. Stitches show up better on solid or tone-on-tone prints. Heavily patterned fabrics will not show the stitches effectively.
This design works well with using the layer cake 10-inch square fabrics and using the Pellon Tear and Wash Away stabilizer #2303.

Join Dale Quadros in our classroom after coffee time to learn the basics of Free Motion Quilting.
We will cover how to set up your machine, hand placement. Speed and how to bury your threads using self threading needles.

(Please come to class with 2 to 3 18 x18 quilt sandwiches made using a basting spray)
