I closed down my wholesale operations,
which was in the other half of the warehouse
where Dragonfly Quilting & Gifts is located.
Rent was sustainable until the 40% increase.
Last week I was able to secure a long-term renter
to take over a portion of the warehouse we were not using.
Some people are saying we are downsizing.
Our store is currently 6000 square feet,
we will be going to 5000 square feet which will include
a 1200 square foot classroom and retreat centre.
The new store will have:
More light
More displays for inspiration.
More classroom space.
More Fabric and notions, if that is even possible!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
AT THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY
WE ARE STARTING THE RENOVATIONS.
Between Christmas & New Years our team will get the store all moved over.
