All you need for the class is
Add a Quarter ruler
Purple Thang
Fons & Porter Glue Stick
scissors
50wt thread
fabric from your stash that you love.
Scraps can be used!
(1) 13" x 18" piece each batting, and backing fabric
(17) 3.5" squares, your choice of colors for triangles
main fabric: (1) 2.5" x 17" and (1) 7" x 17"
(2) 1.25" x 17" contrast strips
sewing machine
Regular sewing supplies.
This class was created to inspire you to learn the basics of foundation paper piecing.
Consumers see our samples of Judy Neimeyer from Quiltworx and Jacqueline de Jong and feel overwhelmed.
Our goal at Dragonfly Quilting & Gifts is to inspire and build your confidence through a positive environment.
The process is very simple, each quilt is broken into units.
Once the units are made, they are sewn together with ease.
A little guidance from the educator will build your confidence.
The Beginner Foundation Paper Piecing class will build your confidence to move along and take a class with Julie Faulkner a Certified Quiltworx educator or join us when Jacqueline de Jong comes back to Vancouver August 24 - 27th 2024
Need extra help? Join Julie Faulkner the 3rd Saturday of every month and she can help you with the any foundation Paper Piecing project you are stuck on
